53 locations through out Laramie were identified back in 2018 as places that wayfinding signs could be installed. What is a wayfinding sign?? It helps direct you from point to point or confirming your progress along a route.

Funding for this study back in 2018 was provided in the form of a grant to the Laramie Main Street Alliance while finding funding for the ongoing management of the wayfinding sign system will be the responsibility of the city.

The day to day management of the wayfinding system will rest with the City Of Laramie after these signs are finished being installed later in 2026 after WYDOT provided input on best practices and limitations

Signs have been placed along 3rd, Grand, Snowy Range, West Curtis and will be color coded to show what type of place the sign is directing you to.
