Trailer And RV Parking In Laramie

Parking a trailer in our town? Know the rules!

Whether you’re a resident or visitor, understanding our trailer parking regulations keeps our streets safe and accessible. Check out the guidelines below to ensure a smooth ride when parking your trailer in our community. 

Please do not park trailers in the following areas: 

1. Within an intersection 

2. In safety zones 

3. On a crosswalk 

4. Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant 

5. Within 20 feet of a fire station’s driveway entrance 

6. In the outside part of a driveway or alley 

7. On a sidewalk or on public property between the curbline and property line 

8. Next to a yellow-painted curb or “No Parking” sign 

9. Within 20 feet of a stop sign, traffic-control signal, or flashing beacon 

10. In the front yard of a property, unless permitted by the Unified Development Code 

Moreover, trailers are only allowed on the street if adjacent to the owner’s property, with a limit of one trailer or RV per residential property owner. Please see City Ordinance Chapter 10.36 for the complete specifications.
