The Wyoming Apprenticeship Web Hub
The Business Training and Support Unit (BTSU) Apprenticeship team is currently developing a modern Apprenticeship Hub to bridge the gap between the state of Wyoming, students, and employers, to promote and develop apprenticeship opportunities across the state.
This website will:
- Act as a landing page for state and federal grants available to students and employers to build apprenticeship capacity for the state.
- Allow employers to post apprenticeship opportunities.
- Utilize augmented reality to engage students in career and opportunity exploration.
The anticipated launch coincides with National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), from November 13 – 17, 2023. NAW is a nationwide celebration established by the U.S. Department of Labor where employers, industry associations, labor organizations, community-based organizations, workforce partners, education providers, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship for re-building our economy, advancing racial and gender equity, building a pipeline to good, quality jobs, and supporting underserved communities.
