Public Meeting And Survey On 1st Street Parking And ADA Improvements Project
The City of Laramie in conjunction with the design team of WWC Engineering & Norris Design, are excited to announce that the first round of Public Meetings for the 1st Street Parking & ADA Improvements Design Project will be held on April 3, 2025, at the Historic Railroad Depot from 11am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm.
The south 1st Street area is a key destination & cultural hub within Downtown, hosting the Jubilee Days Carnival, Brewfest, Farmer’s Market, and other iconic Laramie events. As part of continued efforts to improve user experiences in the area, the City of Laramie is collaborating with WWC Engineering & Norris Design to develop a preferred plan for parking improvements along 1st Street and in the Jackalope Parking Lot while addressing ADA access and storm drainage throughout the project area. The Design team is seeking input from the public and wants to hear from you to help guide and prioritize improvements.
You can participate by attending one of the public meetings on April 3, by scheduling a meeting with design team between 1pm and 5pm on April 3 through tfeezer@cityoflaramie.org and by participating in the online survey at http://bit.ly/4iE5LPP.
