Gorgon Gallery At The Civic Center Seeks Local Artists
Gorgon Gallery is excited to announce a new show featuring works from Laramie artists, and they’ree now accepting art submissions for consideration. As residents of a rural state, they know how important it is to celebrate and support the vibrant and diverse artistic community that exists here in our town.
This upcoming show will feature a wide range of mediums and styles, showcasing the incredible talent and creative energy found in Laramie. Local artists are invited to submit their best works, whether paintings, photographs, sculptures, or mixed media, that reflect the beauty and complexity of our world. They’re looking for pieces that are deeply personal, exploring themes of identity, memory, and emotion, as well as works that offer commentary on social issues, political events, or environmental concerns. They’re also interested in playful and whimsical pieces, as well as contemplative and introspective works.
Submissions will be accepted until June 21st, and artists will be notified of acceptance by June 28th. Work will need to be dropped off by July 10th. The show will open to the public on July 26th and close on October 19th.
