Fund Matching Challenge For Laramie Animal Welfare Society

E.G. Meyer and son David G. Meyer have given an amazing challenge grant to help LAWS start the year off on the right foot. They are making a matching gift of up to $18,000 in the form of the Betty K. Meyer Challenge Grant. Betty Meyer, E.G.’s wife and David’s mom, was one of the founders and principals of the Laramie Care Center in the late 1970s. That was one of the first animal welfare groups in Laramie, and they did amazing work helping strays find homes.

The Betty K. Meyer Challenge Grant invites donors to make gifts in its name, then matches those gifts dollar for dollar up to a total of $18,000.00. LAWS is so thankful for this wonderful memorial which is sure to be a marvelous help in preparing for the medical, spay/neuter and food/care expense of kitten and puppy season. The Meyer Challenge Grant will ensure that LAWS can cover those costs through the busy season.

Please consider making even a $5 or $10 donation today to help us honor such a strong animal advocate and give us the ability to change even more lives this year! All donations are Tax deductible.

Donations can be made online via PayPal or Venmo or can be mailed to LAWS 1104 S. 2nd St Laramie, WY 82070
