LARAMIE, Wyo. (December 12 2024) – Last night, the Albany County School District #1 Board of Trustees voted in favor of a motion to close the UW Lab School effective the 2025-2026 school year.

Students will be transitioned into their neighborhood school starting next fall.

The Board of Trustees and District Administration understand this is an emotional time for all involved and will be working closely with building staff to ensure everyone is aware of the next steps moving forward.
