Bluepeak Breaks Ground On Fiberoptic Internet Service In Laramie

As announced in September of 2021 a new internet provider is coming to Laramie.

Bluepeak broke ground on their new $13 million dollar fiberoptic network that will bring service to approximately 13,000 residents and businesses in the city of Laramie.

“We are thrilled to have a franchise agreement with the city of Laramie to build a future-proof fiber-optic
network,” said Rich Fish, CEO of Bluepeak. “Bluepeak is a different kind of provider with faster, more reliable
speeds that will better connect homes, businesses and organizations across the community.”

With Bluepeak’s advanced fiber connection, residential customers can get up to 5 gigabits of speed and
businesses can get up to 10 gigabits of speed. The next-gen broadband network will provide faster speeds,
better connectivity and the bandwidth to connect more devices for internet, streaming, gaming and more.

“On behalf of the City of Laramie, the city council is pleased to welcome another broadband provider for
Laramie residents,” said Laramie Mayor Paul Weaver. “We wish them the best in their endeavors and
appreciate the availability of new options for broadband customers.”
