Information For August 16th Primary Election

City Council Ward Boundaries, State House and Senate Districts and Precinct Boundaries have been updated based on the 2020 census data and the new boundaries will be in effect for the upcoming Primary Election On August 16th.

The Albany County Clerk is seeking approximately 200 election judges for the upcoming election cycles. Election judges are required to be a registered voter, W.S. 22-8-101(b), please consider registered electors residing in the county and affiliated with the party or persons who are at least sixteen (16) years of age who otherwise meet all requirements for qualification as an elector.

Additionally, there are new statewide voter ID requirements in effect that will require voters to present ID when voting in person. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Wyoming Driver’s License or ID Card
  • Tribal ID Card
  • US Passport
  • US Military Card
  • DL or ID Card from another state
  • University of Wyoming Student ID
  • Wyoming Community College Student ID
  • Valid Medicare or Medicaid Insurance Card

Voters without an acceptable form of ID can obtain one from the local Driver’s Services Office.
