Some Hefty Winds On The Way For Our Region
Some higher winds are once again on the way for SE Wyoming, coming to visit for the second half of the week.
There is a high wind watch late Wednesday night through SAturday evening. It looks like the worst of it in the Hits 106 listening area will be in the higher elevations North and West of us wityh gusts to 85 mph possible.
Now, that doesn’t mean Laramie itself will escape having trash cans and trampolines blown around while people struggle to get out of cars and little dogs get blown around.
It’s that the max wind for Laramie proper appears to be forecast to be a bit less. Breezy conditions persist Wednesday but only 20 to 25mph winds gusting to 40-45. The “Worst” of it for Laramie proper appear to be daytime Thursday, starting off 30 to 35mph in the morning inreasing 40 to 45mph later in the day with gusts up to 65mph.
Some sunshine will persist during the day through out the week with cloudy nights with highs dipping into the upper 30s Sunday after being in the 50s all week but quickly rebound into the upper 40s by Monday
