BIG NEWS, LARAMIE!

We are thrilled to officially launch Almost Home: Our Future Home- a community-driven project to help build LAWS’ new, dedicated rescue facility.

For decades, our rescue work has taken place in foster homes, borrowed rooms, garages, storage sheds, and rental locations.

Now, for the first time, we’re building a place that is ours: designed for compassion, connection, and second chances.

With your help, the new facility will become a shared space for rescue, compassion, and healing – a welcoming place for animals, volunteers, community members, and visitors to come together. It will be a place that all of Laramie can be proud of.

Our facility will include:

Cage-free cat rooms

Dog kennels & safe intake spaces

A Community Pet Pantry

Foster storage

A meeting & training room

Feral cat accommodations

ADA improvements

A memorial garden & Giving Tree

This isn’t just a building- it’s a community effort to build a better future for the humans and animals of Laramie.
