Rocky Mtn. Power Foundation Awards Safety, Health And Wellness Program Grants, 3 In Albany County

CASPER, Wyo. (April 10, 2025) — Across the West, local organizations are dedicated to supporting their most vulnerable neighbors and are striving to create safe, supportive and healthy communities where everyone can thrive. To help turn these aspirations into reality, the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation is donating $469,000 in new grant funding throughout Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.

The grants will support a variety of programs, including those that provide meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity, offer shelter for the unhoused and facilitate healthcare for underserved communities. Additionally, there are initiatives aimed at enhancing public safety and providing services for teenagers, families, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities and survivors of child abuse and domestic violence.

“These local organizations are doing essential work that benefits everyone in our community,” said Dick Garlish, director of the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation and president of Rocky Mountain Power. “This funding by the foundation will help amplify their efforts to support our neighbors and improve the day-to-day lives of people in all parts of our communities.”

Safety and wellness grants are made through one of four grant cycles offered by the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation each year. The foundation assists a diverse variety of organizations in the communities that Rocky Mountain Power serves.
