Input Sought on Laramie Recycling And Waste Habits
The City of Laramie and the Albany County Joint Environmental Advisory Committee is seeking input from community members and businesses about recycling and waste diversion habits, as well as their perspective on future sustainability initiatives in Laramie and Albany County.
The Environmental Advisory Committee’s (EAC) purpose is to use combined expertise and interest in the environmental field to analyze assigned issues, receive and analyze citizen concerns and complaints, formulate options, and advise the City Council and the Board of County Commissioners on environmental issues.
Community feedback is vital in shaping the City’s efforts to improve waste reduction and environmental sustainability which will truly make an impact. Your voice matters!
“By gaining this valuable feedback, the EAC can provide best recommendations to the City on how these practices and services can be improved in the community.
As part of the City of Laramie’s 2050 Carbon Neutrality goal, waste diversion reduces emissions Laramie municipal operations create, therefore bringing the City closer to its goal,” Brannen Moan City Management Analyst says.
