LPD Needs Your Help To Locate A Dog Owner

– On December 2, 2024, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a citizen was bitten by a dog. This event occurred in the area of 17th Street and Spring Creek. The dogs in question are described as a yellow Pitbull type dog, weighing approximately 40 pounds, and a black Pitbull type dog, weighing approximately 60 pounds.  These two dogs were being walked off lease by a female subject in her mid-30’s with an average build and dark complexion.

Locating the dogs in question is important for rabies monitoring and vaccination verification purposes.

The Animal Control Division would like to remind everyone that animal bites could involve exposure to rabies, and that all animal bites must be reported immediately.
