It’s spooky to trash your pumpkins and gourds—compost them instead.  As long as they are free of stickers, wax, paint and other contamination, you can compost them for free at the Landfill/Recycling Center. Don’t forget to bring out your glass for free.

 Watch out for candy wrapper ghouls.  They’ll spoil everything if placed into the recycling cart.  Trash them or recycle at the Open School.
