A Few Sports Courts To Close For Resurfacing

The City of Laramie is pleased to announce that Evergreen Courts will begin resurfacing projects at two local parks starting Monday, August 26. The contractor will be working simultaneously at the Undine Park Pickleball Court and the Washington Park Basketball Court.

The Undine Park Pickleball Court will be resurfaced while the Washington Park Basketball Court will be gaining new surfacing like that seen on the pickleball court. Both locations will be temporarily closed during the resurfacing process, which includes cleaning, filling low areas, applying the new surface, and adding lines. The entire process, including curing time, is expected to take approximately one week however it may take longer as the project is dependent on the weather.

The City of Laramie appreciates the community’s understanding and patience as these improvements are made to enhance our valuable park amenities. Both projects are funded by the 2018, voter approved, special purpose tax. The City of Laramie would like to thank all voters for their support.
