SAFETY ALERT: Physical Assault Near War Memorial Stadium Tue Jan 9th

URGENT UW Alert

At 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to a complaint of a physical assault in the vicinity of War Memorial Fieldhouse. A juvenile female was approached by a male, who is alleged to have assaulted her.

The suspect has not been identified and is described as a white male with an athletic/average build wearing all black including a black pullover hoodie, black pants, black beanie, black neck gaiter, light black gloves, and possibly dark-colored eyes and dark hair. If there is any suspicious behavior or if anyone observes the suspect, call UWPD immediately at 307-766-5179.

As a safety precaution, it is recommended that students and employees always keep all windows and doors locked.
