The City of Laramie Street Division will begin chip sealing projects starting August 7th for approximately two weeks. The project areas include the following locations:

• 15th Street from Grand to Spring Creek
• 9th Street from Grand to Russell, Harney to Lewis, and Reynolds to Shields
• Adams from Snowy Range to Arapaho
• Arapaho, Boulder from Grand to Beech
• Garfield from Snowy Range to Cedar
• Inca
• Vista Drive from Grand to Beech

No parking will be allowed on the streets while the chip sealing operation is in progress. Street sealing involved applying liquid asphalt and rock to the street’s surface. Streets are swept before and after the chip sealing operation. A fog seal will be applied a day after the chip seal.

There will be rolling closures in these areas. Closures will be posted 24 hours before the work begins.
