Weather impact highlights for this week

(Release) Here is the latest Wyoming Situation report for the week of 01/31 to 02/03.  

Overall Weather Impact Level this week: Moderate.

Today and Tuesday will be quite windy, especially across portions of western Wyoming and much of southeast Wyoming, where High Wind Warnings will be in effect. An arctic cold front will bring much colder temperatures for Tuesday through Thursday, with the coldest temperatures on Wednesday.

8 to 14 day outlook favors near to above normal temperatures and near normal precipitation.

Severe to Extreme drought impacts remain over most of northern, western and southeastern Wyoming.
