Primary Care Clinic At Ivinson Welcomes Nurse Practitioner
This month, the Primary Care clinic at Ivinson Medical Group will welcome Molly Adami, DNP. Molly will be providing primary care for chronic disease prevention and management and will begin seeing new adult patients later this May.
Molly is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience working in gastroenterology as well as addressing sexual health needs and communicable diseases. While earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Wyoming, Molly worked at Ivinson as a registered nurse in the PACU providing pre and post-surgical care and in the emergency department as a forensic nurse examiner.
“When it comes to our own health, we all have different priorities, preferences and resources,” Molly said of her care philosophy. “I work with each patient to arrive at a plan that takes all of those factors into consideration to meet their individual needs.”
Originally from Buffalo, Wyoming, Molly completed all of her undergraduate, nursing and medical training education at the University of Wyoming. In addition to her DNP, Molly holds a bachelor of science in nursing and physiology as well as a bachelor of social work.
Prior to providing patient care at Ivinson, Molly has worked with the Wyoming Department of Health in Laramie and Cheyenne and worked as a case manager at Laramie Reproductive Health.
“I am excited to care for the community that welcomed me so many years ago and shaped me into the provider I am today,” Molly said. “I cannot think of another town with such great access to all the outdoor sports I love and the culture that the University and a thriving downtown bring, all in one place.”
In her free time, Molly enjoys mountain biking, skiing, camping and adding to her pottery collection, some of which she makes herself.
Molly is currently scheduling new adult patients at Ivinson and will be in clinic at the later this May. To schedule an appointment with Molly or any other member of our clinic team, call or text 307-755-4540. Learn more about Molly on our website: ivinsonhospital.org
