Bear Creek Fire Update 9/13/24

After an aerial assessment today, the total acreage of the Bear Creek Fire has been more accurately estimated at 1422 acres and is now at 10% containment with 60 personnel on scene.

The current Pre-Evacuation Notice remains in effect for HWY 34 from Morton Pass on the West boundary to Albany County Road 12 on the East boundary to include all of Albany County Road 12.

🚩A Red Flag Warning has been issued for tomorrow, Saturday, September 14th as portions of Albany County and surrounding areas remain in critical fire weather conditions.
