UW Ends Sponsorship Of Lab School In 2025
UW President Ed Siedel has notified ACSD that UW’s sponsorship of the Lab School will end July 1, 2025. The ACSD board will consider the 1 year memorandum of understanding at their July 17th business meeting but if they don’t approve, there is no LAB school for 24-25.
ACSD#1 will engage with the community and consider several options for a district- sponsored choice school at a location other than UW with a planned opening for school year 25-26. Dr. Siedel and his staff have committed to developing stronger relationships and support between UW and ACSD#1 in additional ways that will benefit our students and teachers.
