Experience the Magic: A Day with Wild Horses at Deerwood Ranch!

Deerwood Ranch, Wyoming – June 8, 2024 – Deerwood Ranch invites the public to join them for a day filled with excitement and the beauty of over 350 wild horses. On Saturday, June 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the ranch will open its gates to visitors, free of charge. No reservations are required; simply head to the Hay Barn to join in the festivities.
Events and Adoptions:

BLM representatives will be on-site to answer questions and approve adoption applications. This year, Deerwood Ranch is proud to announce the presence of over 15 non-gentled BLM yearlings, both male and female, available for adoption. Burros will also be available for adoption. Adoption incentives provided by the BLM will facilitate a smooth transition for these magnificent creatures into their new homes.

Food and Refreshments:
Satisfy your hunger with delicious offerings from Alibi Wood Fired Pizza, serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bakery items, jams, and jellies will also be available for purchase.

Shopping and Entertainment:
Browse through a selection of gift items, including T-shirts, photo notecards, and handmade leather goods from Wylie Leather. Join us for a celebration of local produce and craftsmanship as several vendors showcase their products, including pottery, sourdough bread, locally raised plants and flowers, jewelry, hides, and various gift items.

Additional Attractions:
Rez Dawg will have a puppy available for adoption.
Live music will be performed throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Enjoy a tractor hayride to view the 350+ wild horses in their natural habitat. Guided tours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., departing every half hour, with the last tour departing at 2:00 p.m.

Experience the rustic charm of the Colorado Wagon Train, offering horse-drawn wagon rides to and from the parking area.
