Laramie Rivers Conservation District Open House

The Laramie Rivers Conservation District (LRCD) plans to host an open house on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1st, 2023 from 4-7pm at our office: 5015 Stone Rd, Laramie, WY 82070 in regards to our Safe Harbor Agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS).

LRCD staff will be present to answer questions regarding the proposed 2023 reintroduction of the endangered Wyoming Toad within a tract of private land that was voluntarily enrolled in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Safe Harbor Program.

As part of this program, FWS gives written assurance that neighboring landowners are under no obligation to participate in any way or to grant anyone access to their land. The purpose of this open house is to allow visitors and the public to ask questions regarding the program and the planned toad releases.
