Great Western Playgrounds will begin demolition of the Washington Park Playground on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in preparation for the construction of the new playground along with artificial turf safety surfacing.

Construction crews will be working in Washington Park installing the new 5–12-year-old playground in conjunction with this demolition, with final construction planned for the week of June 30, 2022.

Start and finish dates will depend on weather conditions and maybe adjusted as necessary.
