The University of Wyoming Percussion Festival opens Friday, April 15, with the UW Percussion Ensemble’s spring concert, “Everything but the Kitchen Sink.”  

The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall and is free and open to the public. 

This lively and eclectic concert will explore percussion music from around the world and percussion instruments found in everyday life.  Featured guest artists include Dr Andrew Spencer, Carl Dixon, and the Natrona County high school percussion ensemble. 

The concert will also feature the premiere of the UWYO Samba Bateria.
